Local middle school students engaged with programming and robotics through hands-on projects and group-led exploration.

Reina Maruyama was on a Q&A panel Reina Maruyama to share her experiences and advice for members on navigating the world of physics.

The students toured the laboratory facilities and interacted with physics professors, including Reina Maruyama.

Maruyama first spoke about her research in both dark matter and neutrinos, including the HAYSTAC and COSINE-100 experimnets.

Maruyama gave a talk at Yale’s new STEM and Social Inclusion lecture series, discussing her life and career as a scientist.

On Friday, January 17, 2020, Wright Lab hosted several events with the 2020 APS Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) at Yale.

The students toured the general facilities and faculty laboratories.

Maruyama has been chosen by Ingenium to be featured on a poster for their Women in STEM initiative. 

Reina Maruyama also gave a seminar on  Neutrinos and Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay for the concurrent Conference Experience for Undergraduates (CEU).
